Boring gameplay??? Wow, it is top of the field in third person shooting with the best cover system out of any game and the best platforming. The hand to hand could use some improvement but it isn't bad and the stealth is pretty impressive.
Turn based should stay as there are people who still don't want to play games and don't want to be immersed or feel like the character, instead they just want to watch and give commands similar to coaching football (soccer to you yanks).
That isn't my preference. I prefer real time action RPG's like Demon's Souls. I want to be the character :D
